Delete Rows

Delete Rows

In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to remove specific rows from an export. Consider a scenario where you want to break down a PC-set into the individual components, such as the case, monitor, keyboard, and more. Instead of exporting the entire PC set, you need to remove the set line and export the components separately.

Steps to Remove the PC-Set and Export Individual Components:

Set up your report
Include the necessary data fields in your report.

Split the PC-set into components
Use the "Add Additional Rows" function in the Rows tab.
For each component (e.g., case, monitor, keyboard), add a new row at "After each Order".
Set the "If" condition to "Includes PC-Set" so additional rows are only added when a PC set is present.

Delete the original PC-set row
Add a new row at "Delete row of Order".
Use the "If" function with the condition "PC-Set".
This ensures that DataChamp removes the original order line containing the PC-Set while keeping only its components.

Preview the result
Click on the "Preview Button" to check to result of the report.

Safe and run your report
Click "Run Report" and check the output
