Export Mode

Export Mode

Choose from the following export modes:

1. Items:

  • Standard: All items that match the filter criteria are exported each time the report is run.
  • Incremental: Only items that match the filter criteria and were not exported in a previous run are exported. So DataChamp keeps track of what was exported in previous runs, so each new export only adds new or updated items instead of duplicating data that has already been exported.

2. Lines

  • Standard: Each sub-item (e.g. order lines within an order) is inserted as a separate line. This means that each row represents exactly one sub-item.
  • Compress: Sub-items (e.g. order lines) are combined into a single line. The entire order appears on one row instead of listing each item individually.
  • Fill: Similar to “Standard,” each sub-item is shown on its own row. In addition, values from the main item are copied into every row. For example, the customer name will appear on every line, not only in the first line.
  • Duplicate by Quantity: Each sub-item is duplicated according to its quantity. For instance, if an order line has a quantity of 5, it will result in 5 separate rows, with each row representing one unit of the sub-item.

In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to use the export options: Standard, Compress, and Fill:

3. Sort order items

  • Standard: Orders are sorted chronologically, starting with the oldest order.
  • Reverse: Sorting begins with the most recent order.

4. Currency type

  • Presentment currency: Orders are exported in the customer's currency.
  • Shop currency: Orders are exported in the shop’s default currency.
