Can I Add Consecutive Row Numbers in Excel?

Yes you can!


  1. Add a custom column
  2. Give it a name e.g. consecutive numbering
  3. Insert the value: =ROW()-1

  1. Set "Lines" in "Export Mode" to "Fill"

  1. The "File Type" must be "Excel"


If the calculated value of the Excel formula is not displayed in the Preview:

  1. Click “Save”
  2. Then click “Run”
  3. Download the report


In the downloaded Excel file, the formula results will be displayed correctly
